Paul Oldack, Engineer
Paul Oldack’s career began in 1971 when he oversaw the sound for the Contemporary Christian group, Chalice. After running sound for their live shows, he discovered a love for recorded sound. This led him to set up a small studio where he worked with a variety of artists and groups as a recording engineer, arranger, and mastering expert.
Paul is a self-taught engineer who owned and operated his own studio, Paul Oldack Productions, from 1981 to 2016. Throughout his years of experience, he became proficient in all recording software. Paul also enjoys teaching recording and editing to musical professionals in the industry and novice learners. His favorite part of the recording process is mastering, and this love led him to create a cutting-edge mastering facility that uses his different techniques to provide a unique product to all clients.
